Good Job Gary!

So I have been planning on posting this for awhile...but time got away from me. In order to graduate Gary has only needed one more class and that is Portuguese. He had planned on taking the test to pass out, but they gave him grief about it and told him he had to wait until next semester because it was too late :(  Well Gary enrolled in the class and decided to take the test later, halfway through the class and he passed! So he is officially done with his bachelors! Woo-hoo! On to grad school!  We aren't sure where we are going yet...but way to go Gary!

P.S. I saw the alternate ending to I Am Legend and liked it so much! Although neither ending really went with the book, I felt like this had more of the underlying theme in it. And something really hilarious...when I got up for work this morning Gary said he had a nightmare about I Am Legend! I didn't get the full details but apparently he dreamt he was in the movie. That would seriously be my worst nightmare ever! Well...maybe dreaming about The Ring would be worse...

I'm so scared!

Its midnight and Gary is watching "I am Legend". So I promised to watch this movie with Gary (I don't really remember saying that..but he says I did). Now granted, I have already seen this movie in theaters. But for me there is something about watching scary or suspensful movies at home that scares me EVEN MORE if thats possible. I guess I feel like nothing can happen to me in a public setting...but at home anything goes! I also have this strange habit that I have to plug at least one ear when I watch these types of movies. For some reason I guess I am more scared by the sound than anything else. But hey I guess if it helps why not! I genuinely think this is a well made movie..But does it have to be sooooooo freaky???

PS. I also don't know why we are watching it this late.

A New Hobby

So I play the piano and I like to sing. But I have been listening to this Neil Young song on our little imeem player (its down at the very bottom of this blog). I now seriously think the harmonica is the coolest instrument ever. And I don't think I know anyone that plays one. I want to be as cool as this guy.

P.S. Also listen to "All I want is You" by Barry Louis Polisar. You might recognize it from a little flick called Juno.

Gary's Photos

So.. I would like to blow-up, matte (sp?), and frame one of Gary's pictures. I think it would add a really nice touch to our house. And we really need more artwork around here. I just can't decide. Any ideas?

5 Things you probably Don't Know about...

Gary

1. He butters his PB & J sandwiches
2. He used to be on a rollerblading team in high school called team 8 and they were actually sponsored. Legit!
3. When he has bread or anything of that texture he WILL sneeze if he doesn't have some water immediately. We call it his "bread sneeze" :)
4. He loves watches. He even has a watch forum he checks regularly.
5. He absolutely detests churros (he threw one up once)

Angela

1. I had white blonde hair as a little child (I still have one little blonde streak in the back)
2. I love reading Jane Austen's books and I have a growing collection of movies based on them (thank you Amazon!)
3. I could claim dual citizenship if I wanted (Mexico). But should I? If you have an opinion on this let me know.
4. I put milk in my ramen noodles. (That one is my mom's fault) It really is good
5. My ring size is 3 1/2.

Now....5 things Gary and I have in common

1. We both are serious night owls
2. We love italian and brazilian food
3. We were once in the same ward as babies. Awwww...
4. We both have four siblings (Gary is one of five boys!)
5. We love a good movie (95% of our dates include one) There you have it!

I don't like the word "resolution"

So I am sitting here at work with absolutely nothing to do (I'm off the clock-its lunch). I was thinking about how I really haven't made a very definitive new years "resolution". That word is so absolute. I like New year's "possibilities" or "options".
Here they are...

-Take my vitamins. Glucosomine and Vitamin C :)
-Get more sleep. (I am such a night person!)
-Eat healthier
-Watch less TV.
-Be very nice to my husband (I can be a crank)

Well that was a short list.
